For ex-national sepak takraw player and sports commentator Azlan Mubin, one of the main keys to keeping a positive mindset is by having the right people around him
“These are unsettling times, and the current pandemic is clearly impacting our personal and professional lives, as well as those that we care about. Hopefully, everyone will be able to go back to work, and things will start to open again soon,” shared Azlan.
“Many people may have lost their jobs or businesses because of the pandemic, but we can look at this as an opportunity to find a better job or start up a new business opportunity. We do not have to let this change define us.
“I am confident we will get through this, together,” he added.
Two-time SEA Games netball champion Fariha Razak shares that staying active is what keeps her going
“Staying physically active during quarantine is important for mental and physical wellness. Exercise can be beneficial to your body for a variety of reasons. It improves mood, boosts energy, promotes better sleep, and helps the body fight diseases,” shared Fariha.
“There are many ways to remain active while at home. From biking and aerobics, to dancing and running, you can easily find fun activities to get your heart rate up and break a sweat. The point is, just get yourself active. You will love it!
“Always stay active to stay healthy!” shared Fariha.
Hailing from Perak, national diver Jasmine Lai reminds us all that a healthy diet will lead to a healthy smile
“A healthy smile naturally comes from a healthy body. Isolation doesn’t mean surviving off snack foods like two-minute noodles and packet soup, or chocolate bars and soft drinks. Foods that are high in sugar and salt and low in nutrients will put your health at risk,” said Jasmine.
“Take your time to prepare your own food. There are many healthy foods like oats, nuts, or pasta you can prepare as daily meals and store for a long time too. Have fun with it. You will be rewarded with your own masterpiece, while keeping your health in check too.
“As a personal tip, always add some supplements, such as nutritional drinks or multivitamins, into your daily diet. And, remember to share your healthy smile with everyone!” she said.
All in all, Watsons wants to help everyone stay healthy and active. That’s why they’re offering amazing deals up to 30% off!
