KOTA KINABALU: Kampung Baru Batu 2 in Jalan Apas, Tawau, will be placed under an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from July 7-20 as the number of Covid-19 cases there has risen.
Security minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakub on Monday said nine positive cases were reported from 12 tests at the village.
He also announced that the lockdown at Kampung Ejuk in Kota Belud and Kampung Warisan in Kota Kinabalu will be extended from July 6 until July 20.
The EMCO at Block 11 at Kampung Titingan and Batu 7 Jalan Tinagat in Tawau will end on July 6.
