MIRI (June 16): Community leaders are currently updating the list of those registered for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme in Subis District.
Assistant Minister of Welfare and Community Well-being, Women, Family and Childhood Development Datuk Rosey Yunus said this is necessary to ensure all eligible for the Covid-19 vaccine are not left out.
“Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) has informed that the vaccination programme is still on going.
“Community leaders are now updating the recipients’ name list so that no one in the Subis District will left out from the programme,” she said after visiting the vaccination centre (PPV) at Ladang Tiga Health Clinic, Jalan Miri-Bintulu today.
The Bekenu assemblywoman urged those yet to register for the programme to do so via MySejahtera or submitting a manual application through their respective community leaders.
For the long term, she said there is a plan to provide more parking spaces at Ladang Tiga Health Clinic, which began vaccinations on June 12.
As of yesterday, 440 recipients had been vaccinated at the PPV.
Rosey also visited the Sepupok and Bekenu PPVs to check on their progress.
Joining her were political secretaries to the chief minister — Sarkawi Suhaili and Julani Mokhtar.
