KOTA KINABALU: Six areas in Sabah will be placed under Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
Taman Wangsa in Jalan Telipok will be under EMCO after nine of the 12 tests conducted among residents there returned positive.
In the Papar district, Kampung Gusi Kinarut, Kampung Tengah Kinarut and Kampung Benoni will also be under EMCO after a total of 28 cases were detected there.
In Sandakan, Lorong Ulu Sibuga 5 & 9 in Taman Mawar will be under EMCO after 18 of the 28 tests conducted among residents there returned positive.
In Kudat, Kampung Perpaduan in Pulau Banggi will be under EMCO after eight of the 38 tests conducted there returned positive.
Sabah has adopted an amended version of the national SOP for the current lockdown with shops and businesses mostly allowed to open only until 7pm.
