Sabah vaccination registration improves to 20 per cent

KOTA KINABALU: State registration for Covid-19 vaccines had improved from 17.56 per cent (May 25) to almost 20 per cent, as of May 9, revealed Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

A total of 575,326 persons have registered with the MySejahtera application, which is 19.6 per cent of Sabah’s aged 18-year-old and above 2,932,700 population.

The number was shared by Masidi in a tweet today.

Putatan, Penampang, Beaufort and Kuala Penyu topped the list with 49.2 per cent, 46.9 per cent, 44.9 per cent and 43.6 per cent respectively.

Sipitang and Tuaran are 35.5 per cent and 31 per cent, followed by Kota Kinabalu (28.8 per cent), Papar (28.6 per cent), Tenom (21.4 per cent), Kota Marudu (21.1 per cent), Tambunan (19.9 per cent), Kudat (19.2 per cent), Ranau (19.1 per cent), Kota Belud (18.2 per cent), Keningau (17 per cent), Pitas (15.2 per cent), Tawau and Kalabakan (15.1 per cent), Sandakan (14.7 per cent), Lahad Datu (11.8 per cent), Beluran and Telupid (10.8 per cent) and Kunak (10.4 per cent).

Four districts with lowest percentage, below 10 per cent are Nabawan (7.6 per cent), Semporna (7 per cent), Tongod (6.2 per cent), and Kinabatangan (6 per cent).
