The Raspberry Pi has gone from strength to strength, with its fourth iteration being released last year. And now, its makers have a miniature fan to go with the tiny single board computer. Fittingly, it’s simply called the Raspberry Pi 4 Case Fan.
The idea of it may be a little counterintuitive when you think about it. After all, the whole point of something like the Raspberry Pi is to cut down on bulk, to which the fan adds. But with the performance you can squeeze out of the Raspberry Pi 4, this suggests that a fan may just be necessary. After all, it just got a new 8GB RAM variant earlier this year, according to The Verge.
As part of the release, the team behind Raspberry Pi also put out a video showcasing the Case Fan. It’s very easy to put together, and it even comes with a heatsink to go with it.
It’s worth noting that, this Raspberry Pi 4 Case Fan works best, if not only, with the official case. With the popularity of this mini computer, no doubt there are already plenty of aftermarket cases with fans of their own for it. And if you’re interested in getting it, it comes with a modest price of RM25.
