[PHOTOS] This Woman Collects Gorgeous Ang Pows From All Over The World

People collect all kinds of things, from old stamps and coins to toys and fridge magnets

One woman, however, who goes by the name @onegilamama on Instagram has dedicated an account to her ang pow and sampul duit raya collection.

There are so many beautiful designs she’s collected over the years, we couldn’t decide which ones to show you. Here are just some of our favourites:

To match the year of the dog, Malaysian stationery company ana tomy released these beautiful ang pow packets that remind us of Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs film.

One of the more gorgeous ang pow designs of 2019 were these Fendi floral ones that looked like embroidery!

She explained that this gorgeous set came with 10 different dog designs. 

And what made these red packets meaningful was that the profits made from selling these were donated to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to help animals in need.

Property developer Sunsuria created this cute set with quality paper for Raya in 2019. Almost like a page out of Where’s Waldo. 😀

According to her post, these artistic designs of famous world leaders were printed on rubbery material.

If you look closely, Chinney Group’s packet design in 2018 is slightly embossed with simple stitching. Gorgeous!

YSL’s luxurious ang pow design in 2019 had hints of Japanese influence printed on high-quality paper with embossed navy blue lettering.

The details on this beautiful set of ang pows were exquisite! The gift box it came in had a drawer and laser cuttings.

Singapore Zoo’s ang pow quality never fails to impress her, she wrote. This year, their packets are made of rubbery, good quality paper with beautiful animal designs.

How cute are these little kuih illustrations! She explained that Offspring Natural’s duit raya design in 2019 came in four different colors featuring local traditional raya kuih muih.
