[PHOTOS] This Little Town In Sabah Gives You A Breathtaking View Of Mount Kinabalu

Everyone wants to travel to Kinabalu Park or Kundasang in Sabah, but many may not know that there’s a neat little town nearby

Pekan Nabalu is about 12km away from Kinabalu Park, it’s often a resting place for travellers to take short breaks before heading to their destinations.

Now, the town is bustling with tourists, becoming a must-visit place when you are travelling around the area.

One of Nabalu Town’s landmarks is a 15m-tall watchtower that gives tourists a spectacular bird’s eye view of the mountain range

There is also a viewing platform in the garden which is a very popular photo-shooting spot

Located near the edge of town, using the platform for photography is perfect because there is nothing obstructing the scenic view behind you.

The colourful Nabalu Market sells a variety of items like local handicrafts, souvenirs, trinkets, and food

The items sold here are cheaper than the big city. You might even get discounts if you’re good at haggling.
