Malaysian actress and TV personality Neelofa, along with other family members, are now under investigation again for violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) under the Movement Control Order (MCO)

This came after a video of their family celebrating Hari Raya started making its rounds on social media, sparking controversy.

It is alleged that Neelofa and her family violated the MCO ruling which states that social gatherings and house-to-house visits on Hari Raya Aidilfitri are strictly prohibited throughout the country.

The video was originally posted on Instagram by the starlet’s sister, Noor Nabila.

However, it was deleted not long after that.

The clip shows the family members hugging and apologising to each other, a common practice for Muslims in Malaysia on the morning of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The caption read, “1 Syawal full of blessings.”

Besides Neelofa, others spotted in the video include her husband PU Riz, her sister Noor Nabila, her brother-in-law Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin, her mother Noor Kartini Noor Mohamed, and her stepfather Abdul Halim Khan Lall Khan.
