If your parents, grandparents, or other elderly folks you know are going to get vaccinated but have no one to accompany them, Teman Malaysia can help with that

The social enterprise is offering to assist your loved ones as they go for their COVID-19 vaccination appointments at the price of RM70 for two hours. Any additional hours will be RM30/hour.
The price excludes transportation fees, which are based on the e-hailing fare or RM0.60 per kilometre.
However, if your finances are a little tight, you can try to reach out to them to book an empty paid slot, as some people have donated to help those struggling during this time.
Customers will be matched with ‘Temanions’, who can also be hired to assist them to perform daily tasks or run errands
Temanions, a term coined from the words ‘teman’ and ‘companion’, can accompany your loved ones to go for their monthly medical appointments, dialysis treatments, visit and keep them company, or even to teman them to enjoy planned customised activities.
They operate every day from 7am to 9pm.

The services are currently available to those in the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, and Kota Tinggi, but they will be looking to expand to other areas in the future
