KUCHING (June 19): A 58-year-old male victim was rushed to the Bau Hospital after he allegedly ingested poison at a house in Bau this morning.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) in a statement said the department received a call from a member of the public reporting the incident at 10.10am.
At the scene, Bomba rescuers assisted the medical personnel from the Bau Hospital to lift the victim onto a stretcher for transportation.
The victim was then transported to the Bau Hospital via Bomba’s Emergency Medical Rescue Services’ ambulance.
Bau district police chief DSP Poge Nyaon confirmed the incident when contacted.
