People far and wide have come to know and love the absolutely divine apple strudel from Fruity Bakery and Cafe in Klang
They have been serving the delicious sweet and savoury pastry at the same outlet for over 30 years now.
These strudels sell like hot cakes and all this time, people have been willing to travel all the way to the small neighbourhood of Taman Chi Liung just to get their hands on this decadent dessert.
Most customers order in advance because usually, around noon, these strudels would be wiped clean from the shelves and you’d have to wait another day to have a taste.

However, KL folks will not have to fret anymore.
Fruity Bakery and Cafe just announced that everyone will be able to purchase their famous apple strudel from a shop in Mont Kiara.
In a Facebook post, they wrote, “We are pleased to announce our latest collaboration with H Floriste – bringing you the most beautifully curated blooms and Malaysia’s favourite Apple Strudel with the original recipe from Perth, Australia. At H Floriste, you will soon be able to stop to smell the roses AND our freshly baked strudels too.”
The outlet will be located at Jalan Dutamas Raya and based on one of their comments under the post, purchases will be on a pre-order basis
When someone asked if they’d only be selling apple strudels, Fruity Bakery and Cafe responded, “For the first week, it will likely be apple strudels only, but as the KL location will be run on a pre-order basis, you should be able to place your order for other items soon.”
They also noted that more information will be released from time to time
