Hair salons and car wash services are now allowed to operate until 10pm during the Movement Control Order (MCO)
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob made the announcement today, 4 February, after discussing with relevant authorities and health departments.
Pasar malams (night markets) are also allowed to operate from 4pm until 10pm.
All businesses should continue to practise the usual standard operating procedures (SOPs).
According to The Star, the minister noted that there were no clusters from these three activities leading to the agreement by the National Security Council to resume these businesses.
