NVIDIA’s Founders Edition (FE) Geforce RTX 30 series are special in more ways than one; not only do they feature a unique cooling design, they’re also the only cards that require a special 12-pin PCIe power connector to power them. That is, until now.
EMTEK, a graphics card brand based in South Korea, recently introduced an RTX 3070 custom cared under its Miracle line. The sub-brand has been around since the launch of NVIDIA’s RTX 20 series, but what makes this particular RTX 3070 so special is this: it’s the second custom RTX 3070 besides NVIDIA’s FE cards that are powered by a 12-pin PCIe connector. The other being the ASUS RTX 3070 EKWB.
Beyond that, the card looks pretty humble in its design, despite the garish RGB-adorned fans attached to the card. Specs-wise, the card has a boost clock of 1725MHz, while maintaining the usual numbers of an RTX 3070, including 5888 CUDA cores, 8GB GDDR6 graphics memory, running at 14Gbps.
Now for the bad news: the card is, sadly, only available within the South Korean market, meaning it is unlikely we will ever see the card make its way to Malaysia in an official capacity. Not unless one or more of our local distributors take an interest in it.
