KUCHING (June 14): Continue evolving in the process of vaccination to improve efficiency and convenience, urged Minister for Local Government and Housing Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian.
After a visit to the private Covid-19 vaccination centre (PPV) at Normah Medical Specialist Centre today, he said he was “very happy to see innovative ways of giving vaccines”.
“Vaccinators move while people sit in the same chair — from registration, getting vaccinated and observation.
“Continue evolving (in) the process of vaccination to improve efficiency and convenience. (It is a) challenging balancing as we want to vaccinate as fast and as soon as possible now the vaccines arrived in substantial doses every week,” he said in a Facebook post.
On the first day of its operation as a Covid-19 vaccination centre, Normah Medical Specialist Centre had vaccinated 1,000 people who received their vaccination appointments through the MySejahtera application.
