KUCHING (Mar 3): Sarawak recorded a Covid-19 fatality today along with 139 new positive cases, said State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
He said the latest death case was recorded in Sibu, bringing the state’s death toll from the virus to 84.
“As for the new positive cases, Sibu recorded the highest with 39 cases followed Kuching (29), Bintulu (17), Betong (13), Kapit (6), Bau (6), Meradong (5), Miri (5), Selangau (5), Pusa (4), Serian (4), Spaoh (2), and one each in Julau, Sarikei, Asajaya and Song.
“The total number of positive cases in the state have now increased to 10,063,” he told a press conference.
