Covid-19: New record high in Sarawak as cases spike to 5,291 out of 19,198 nationwide

KUCHING (Sept 12): Sarawak’s daily Covid-19 cases reached an all-time high as the state recorded 5,291 new cases today, said Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

He said that this was the highest out of the 19,198 cases reported nationwide — almost 3,000 cases ahead of Selangor’s 2,347 cases, which are the second-highest figures in the country.
