KUALA LUMPUR: The Social Security Organisation’s (Socso) headquarters and all offices and business premises at Menara Socso, Jalan Ampang here, have been closed from Monday until this Friday for decontamination and sanitisation work.
Socso chief executive Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed said the decontamination and sanitation work was implemented after a staff member at the agency’s headquarters was infected with Covid-19.
“The health and safety of staff and customers is a priority and Socso will continue to work with the authorities to curb the spread of the pandemic to ensure the safety of our customers,” he said in a statement today.
He said the case was handled in accordance with the SOPs set by the health ministry.
