
KUCHING (Feb 26): Asajaya district today turned yellow after one new locally transmitted case of Covid-19 infection was detected in the district, said the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
“Bau district has changed its status to orange after recording 22 cases of local infection in the last 14 days,” it said in a statement.
Meradong, Kuching, Samarahan, Julau, Subis, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu districts remain red, with a total of 2,514 locally transmitted cases reported in these nine districts in the last 14 days.
Kanowit, Betong, Song, Bukit Mabong, Dalat and Sri Aman districts remain orange with a total of 172 locally transmitted cases reported in the last 14 days.
Beluru, Sarikei, Lundu, Selangau, Saratok, Sebauh, Tatau, Pakan, Serian and Belaga districts remain yellow, with a total of 71 locally transmitted cases reported in the last 14 days.
The other 13 districts in the state remain green.
