3 Men Killed In JB After Car Allegedly Skids While Speeding & Crashes Into A House

Three men in their 20s were killed after the car they were travelling in met with an accident in Taman Daya, Johor Bahru

According to Malay Mail, the incident took place around 2am on Monday, 27 September.

A Proton Waja carrying five people was believed to have been speeding before losing control and crashing into a parked Perodua Kelisa, a tree, and a house.

Two of the deceased victims were 21 years old and have been identified while the other victim killed in the accident has yet to be identified.

On the other hand, the two other male passengers who were also in the car sustained severe injuries.

The owner of the house said that he was surprised to see that a car had collided into the concrete fence of his home

Mohd Akmal Mohd Noh told Harian Metro that his wife woke him up in the middle of the night after hearing the sound of a car braking followed by a loud bang.

While looking out from a window on the upper level of his house, he saw that the Proton Waja had rammed into his home.

“I was shocked to see one of the victims stuck with part of their body protruding from the back of the vehicle,” he noted.

“When I approached the passengers, some of them seemed severely injured,” he added.

The man then called the Taman Setia Indah police station to report the incident and a few minutes later, a team of police officers, firemen, and an ambulance arrived at the location.

The Fire and Rescue Department had to use special equipment to extricate the victims from the extremely damaged vehicle

The injured victims were then rushed to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital for medical treatment while the bodies of the deceased victims were handed over to the police for further action.

South Johor Bahru district police chief ACP Raub Selamat confirmed the incident with Kosmo! and said that the cause of the accident is still being investigated.
