193 cases, three deaths in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah recorded 193 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, with three deaths in the past 24 hours.

State Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the deaths were in Tawau (two cases) and Sandakan.

“A total of 1,473 patients are currently receiving treatments in hospitals (451), PKRCs (1,020) and Temporary Detention Centre (two).

“Sixty-nine patients are in ICU, with 20 of them under ventilation,” he said, adding no new cluster was detected on June 22.

On the vaccination registration, Masidi said Sabah is currently at 29.7 per cent, with 818,931 total registrations through MySejahtera app, website and hotline.

Total Covid-19 cases in Sabah as of Tuesday are 67,900.
